Bortolami presents “Parti Pris,” Barbara Kasten’s second solo exhibition with the gallery.
Barbara Kasten’s artistic practice has always led her to be experimental with her artworks and in her eighth decade of her artistic journey she is on her way up to become endlessly unique with her practice portraying her recent body of work. The works featured include extensions of her colorful and large-scale photographs titled “Collisions,” matched with a hybrid form of art practice involving sculptural photography entitled as “Progressions.” The exhibition also enables her to present her “Parallels,” the first free-standing sculpture being created and shaped by her since 1970s.
